Jondaryan Woolshed 2016

G'day Zedheads

I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank all those members (and others) that helped to set up and run (or put their bike in) the Club Display at the Jondaryan Woolshed.

I think at one stage on Saturday afternoon we had over a dozen Zeds there, which made a great display and created a lot of interest from the Public. Dave Marett even made the trek down, from Bundy, with TWO beautifully restored Z1Rs on a trailer....Good effort, Dave.

The event started off a little shaky, as the Organisers didn't really know what to expect, especially after last year's event was flooded out, but panned out ok by the end of the day (Saturday), but they explained that over the P.A. system and kept us updated as the day progressed.

I personally don't think there were enough activities and displays to keep people amused for THREE full days and probably 80% of the people left the venue on Saturday. In saying that there was still a constant flow of visitors on the Sunday, and a lot of them were equipped to camp for the night.

The venue is fantastic and the amenities really good, food was excellent and the Bar Service very efficient. I think the event will only get bigger and better with time and it was a great opportunity for us to showcase the Club and I think we should make it an annual event.

I'm sure there will be plenty of photos, both on the Website and our Facebook page, so check them out, if you haven't already. Again thanks to everyone for their help and participation over the weekend.

I think it was a great success, as far as the Club is concerned.

REMEMBER ....... Ride em DON'T hide em!!!!

Cheers
