On the 5 May 2014 several members (including Benno, Ray Smith, Con and myself) went to the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Clubs bike show day.

The event was sponsored by Olivers Motorcycles at Moorooka who at the same time had their Grand Opening with new bikes on display, accessories and other goodies sold by willing staff. Ray Smith knew one of the owners and as a consequence we all scored an Olivers Motorcycle cap. The staff at Olivers only expected about 20 bikes for the display however that quickly grew and so did the numbers of lookers and their bikes.

There were over 100 bikes on display and about another 100 bikes in the car park at were just as good as the bikes on display. The weather was good and we were represented by at least 7 members of the Z Owners Club. There were plently of the Kawasaki brand from a 1966 model to Zeds and a Z1300 all in great condition. There were several z900’s for sale on the day.

We left the event and were thanked by the VJMC and Olivers Motorcycles for our attendance.
